2009
Hi CTRF,
Is Spring here yet??? Are warmer days ahead??? Seems to be
the topic of discussion around my circle of friends. Sure hope it warms up soon.
Okay, down to business.
We had a great pot-luck/meeting on March 29th.
Thirteen of us showed up and Joy Dull, who heads up well drilling projects in
Uganda was there to share with us on how things are going and how we can pray or
help. Her program is currently working on fundraising and planning their 4th
well to be constructed. Joy plans to go back in October 2009 to have it
installed. There is also a need for bibles, medical, buildings, school, and
children’s needs, agriculture, and more.
To learn more you can go to www.blesschildren.org
or email her at joy@blesschildren.org.
Mike K. shared a short scripture passage – Romans 1:
16-32. We had a good discussion. Next meeting Doug P. will be leading us in a
topic from God’s word.
Budget: We had $227.45. We project income of $97 from the Canby tack sale ($65 coming from Two’s a Team who shared our booth with us). $10 from the sale of a cowbell. Other pending income is $15 – bible sales and $20 for 2 more cowbells. Total should come to $369.45. Expenses are $30 – sponsorship for Jackline in Uganda + $30 to hold a table at the Sportsman Show (refundable). Balance in petty cash is $309.45.
