The TEN COMMANDMENTS for STARTING a C.T.R.F. CHAPTER
PURPOSE:
1. Recreational Horseback Riding in a Christian Atmosphere.
2. Sponsoring various forms of Christian Ministry.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT:
Luke 10:27: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...strength...and
mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
- Be sure of your personal salvation and lifestyle.
(I Jn l:9 "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.") - Have a concern for the unsaved.
(Matt. 28:19 "Go...and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father...Son...
and Holy Spirit...and I am with you always...") - Purpose to dedicate your horse as an instrument in the
cause of Christ.
(Zechariah 14:20 "..shall be inscribed on the bells (tack) of the horses, 'Holy to the Lord.'")
(Col. 3:17, I Cor.10:31 "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all to the Glory of God.") - Find two friends who have the same vision.
(Advisable to have at least one man) - Clarify your purpose:
(Wholesome recreational evironment and lifestyle sharing Christ with invited riders) - Make a list of possible interested people
- Schedule a date for Prayer and Planning Meeting.
(Just the small core group) - Advertize for 1 month in local print media, place notices, etc.
- Meeting to present the plan and activity schedule.
(If desired, invite someone(s) from an established chapter to attend.) - Pray.
